If you’re a subscriber to Amazon’s Subscribe & Save program, you can choose to have Alexa notify you when an item is out of stock. You can also opt to turn off the notifications for deals and personal recommendations. Alexa is an intelligent assistant that you can use to buy items on Amazon. To turn off these notifications, simply choose the option from the menu at the top right of the Alexa app.
After logging into the Alexa app, select the “Notifications” option. You’ll see a list of the different types of Amazon shopping notifications. To turn them off, toggle the option from “On” to “Off.”
Next, tap the Notifications tab. You’ll see an option for Amazon. It says “Amazon Shopping.” To turn off Amazon shopping notifications, tap the toggle to the right of “No notifications” and “Always on” (recommended setting).
If you don’t want Alexa to spoil a surprise, turn off Amazon shopping notifications in the Alexa app. Alexa’s notifications are annoying and can be disruptive. For example, if you’re shopping at night, you don’t want Alexa to tell you when your package will arrive. If you’re a parent, turning off notifications in Alexa can keep your children safe and out of trouble.
You can turn off Amazon shopping notifications in your Alexa app by turning off the “Amazon” tab on your phone. Depending on your needs, you can turn notifications on or off for any time. During the holidays, you might want to turn them back on. If this is the case, you can easily turn off the notifications for all Amazon products and use Alexa in your home again. You don’t have to deal with the annoying notifications anymore, but you can turn them on again after the holiday season is over.
